Ready to Blossom Presents:

"When Allah Says “Wait”: Staying Hopeful When Your Du’a Takes Time"

A Ready to Blossom online session for Muslim girls

What do you say when your daughter tells you:

“I’ve been making du’a. Why hasn’t Allah answered me?”

Or when she sees a friend getting something she has been praying for and quietly wonders, “Why her and not me?”

As mothers, we want our daughters to trust Allah, but sometimes it’s hard to know what to say when they’re disappointed, confused, or tired of waiting.

This Ready to Blossom session gives girls a safe space to explore those feelings and learn that having questions, feeling disappointed, and finding waiting difficult doesn’t mean their faith is weak.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Why some du’as seem unanswered

  • What sabr really means- and why it isn’t simply “putting up with it”

  • What to do when Allah’s decree doesn’t look the way we hoped

  • How to keep making du’a without becoming discouraged

  • What the stories of those who waited in the Qur’an can teach us

  • How to hold onto hope when the answer hasn’t come yet

Our goal is not to tell girls to simply “be patient.” It’s to help them understand how to be patient while still feeling, hoping, questioning and turning back to Allah.

A session to help your daughter build a deeper understanding of du’a, sabr, trust and hope, especially during the seasons of life when Allah says, “Wait.”

Suitable for girls aged 9–18.
